Koomwimarndin is not a resort or homestay, but it’s a place that you can gain a lot of knowledge of various kinds of pottery. Very interesting, right?

It’s situated in Chachoengsao province, Thailand, which is not far away from Bangkok.

The Thai name, “Koomwimarndin”, may not be familiar for you. I’ll try to describe it in English for your better understanding.

Koom in Northern Thai language means “house”

Wiman means “heaven”

Din, in this case, means "clay" that is for making pottery

In my opinion, Koomwimandin may probably means “heaven house of pottery”.

If you visit there, you will see many potteries with cute, funny and beautiful designs. There are also houses which were built from clay. Interesting, right?

Not only the pottery is interesting, but the design of their garden is also interesting. There are many green trees that create fresh and nice atmosphere and beautiful flowers that create beautiful scenery.

Apart from good for learning, this place is also great for relaxing indeed.

Another place that I would like to recommend for you is Wat Sothonwararam that is a significant temple of this province.

As you can see, the temple hall has magnificent architecture with Thai style. The outside walls were made of beautiful marble.

After the trip, it would be good to have a great dinner along a river…..

Um! Apart from delicious, I think, eating foods with nice atmosphere like this would be more enjoyable.
