My Cousin and I are travelling in Epirus in the north-west of Greece. High up in the Pindos mountains, Ioannina - the regional capital - is located. The trip gave me a unique opportunity to join the Perama Cave. Here is my photos.
An incredible masterpiece of nature! The shapes and the number of the stalagmites and the stalactites are wonderful.
It's one of the more interesting, beautiful and bigger caves in this part of Europe. Although the naming of various cave parts is a bit cheesy, the shapes and their sheer sizes are amazing.
The Perama Cave is just 4 km from Ioannina.
Thanks to its impressive beauty and the 19 kinds of stalactites...
