I would like to share some photos from our day at Fish River Canyon in Namibia, Africa.
Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon in the WORLD!
Fish River Canyon is located in the South of Namibia just north of the border of South Africa. The length of the canyon is around 160 km long, 27 km wide and up to 550 m deep.
It was an amazing sight to see this canyon wind its way through the desert.
We had a nice walk around part of the canyon rim and got some amazing views.
It is such a beautiful landscape with the desert and these steep cliff faces.
There is not much water running through the river apparently once a year when it floods the river rages.
Just be super careful if you decide to venture out to the edge as it's a big drop from there!!
There is also an amazing lookout which is a perfect spot for some beers or wine to enjoy while you sit back and watch the sun set over the canyon.
So if you ever find yourself in Namibia Africa make sure you check out the Fish River Canyon!
