"RIDE DE INDIA 2017" : A 11,000 Kilometers Roadtrip Criss-Cross India in 43 Days | Day 3: MALSHEJ GHAT

If you guys have missed out on my previous post explaining about our ride, you can read it here!

Read the Day 1 and Day 2 posts before reading this!

The view after crossing the tunnel in Malshej Ghat.

Previously, on Day 2 of our ride, we rode 627 kilometers from Murudeshwar to Pune and had reached Pune at 12:00 am.

Manojna's (my biker buddy) brother, Sharath was a businessman in Pune.

We called and informed him that we've reached.

He came to the highway where he had asked us to wait.

He took us to his place and we got freshened up, watched some GoPro videos of that day and called it a night.

The next morning however was a crazy one.

August 7th, 2017

We had woken up pretty late and instead of going out for breakfast, we prepared our own brunch! :P

We prepared Dosa (South Indian Pancake :P), Chutney (Sides for Dosa) and Coffee.

That's Manu preparing Chutney.

Chutney preparation

Sharath prepared Dosa and I made coffee.

If any of you guys happen to come to South India, Masala Dosa is a must try food item!

That's how Dosa and Chutney looks like.

Coffee is ready!

We enjoyed the food that we cooked and left towards Malshej around 2:00 pm.

Sharath took his car out, a Ford Fiesta Diesel.

We both as usual rode on our bikes.

Pune to Malshej Ghat is a 3.5 hours journey.

For your reference. You can see the green patch on the map where the Malshej Ghats start.

Click here for Google Map Location for this place.

On the way, we got a lot of bad patches of roads.

We stopped for a while when we reached this point.

We had brought some snacks which we had over here.

It was drizzling slightly and was the perfect chilling weather!

We cleaned up the place after we finished eating. We sport #idonttrashmytravel sticker on our bikes!

We did some photo-shoots and time-lapse shots in this place which I will be posting later on Steemit.

I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Both of 'em look beautiful in nature, don't they? As if this is their natural habitat!

Manu posing with the bikes!

Moving a little ahead...

After crossing the tunnel...

Let's look around us at the view shall we?

Spot the cars! :P

And another one!

And the tunnel...

That view though.

One with the car!

It got late after the photoshoot and we thought it would be better to head back before it got dark.

On the way we stopped for dinner.

Bikes taking rest in Hotel Sadguru Parking lot.

Aloo Paratha Butter and pickle is one of the best combination!

We were just having our dinner when we got a text from PowerDrift saying that they've got a surprise waiting for us!

We were pretty excited about it.

They'd meet us the next day in Pune to reveal the surprise.

To know what it was all about, wait for the next post.

Post dinner, we headed home and called it a day...
