Ride De India 2017 | Day 5: A Day Off in Mumbai

August 9th, 2017

We had though of waking up early morning and heading to the Chor Bazaar.

A friend of mine had suggested me to check out action cameras and riding boots over there.

A view of Mumbai City.

If you guys don't know what Chor Bazaar is, it's a place where people sell stolen items for dirt cheap prices.

That's because they don't know the value of the items that they're selling!

For eg: You can get a $499 GoPro Action Camera for as cheap as $70.

Here's a detailed V-log about Chor Bazaar by an Indian MotoVlogger.

Fortunately or unfortunately, we ended up waking at 11:00 am and missed the boat.

It happens only from midnight to dawn. Once the sun is out, everyone just take their stuff and leave from the place.

We had our breakfast and ended up going to the nearest Bike Wash and got our bikes washed!

The bikes getting clean and tidy after a 1000+ kms ride from Mangalore to Mumbai!

The wash costed us Rs. 100 per bike (1.54 USD).

Once we were done with the wash, we dried off our bikes and started stickering them with 100 kmph stickers.

How does it look with the stickers?

Later, in the evening we met many of our Mumbai friends and also met the creator of our Ride De India 2017 logo- Sagar Patil!

Sagar(L), Me(C) and Denzil(R)

Then we headed home and called it a day!

Next day early morning we had to ride towards Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

We couldn't reach Ahmedabad next day because of something that happened with one of our bikes.

To know what happened, stay tuned for the next part! ;)
