Happy Sunday Steemians!

What are you all up to this weekend? Whenever it is the weekend, there is always that one question, "what should we do this weekend?"

Last Sunday we introduced the Queen Victoria Building which is a heritage building of Sydney and it is also a popular destination for locals and tourists on the weekend. Today, we would like to introduce you to another heritage site of Sydney called the Tramsheds at Harold Park in Sydney.

Tramsheds was originally a tram depot built in 1904. Approximately 3 years ago, the building has been restored and has since been turned into a European inspired food hall. The iconic feature of this building is the saw-tooth shaped brick roof. Tramsheds opened it's doors to public in 2016 which makes this place still fairly new.

It was also our first time visiting this place. We came here during the weekend and it was surprisingly not as busy as we imagined. We've heard a lot about this place from our friends and it was also featured on the foodies newsletters so we decided to have a look at what the hype was about.

From the carpark, this was our first view of the building. You can see the top of the roof as we mentioned.

As you first walk in, you can see a tram. This tram is called 'Tram R1 1995' and it was one of the six trams that were left by City of Sydney Council and was found damaged and vandalised. It was taken to be repainted and restored and displayed here at the Tramshed as a way of showing the building's history. This tram is also part of a restaurant which means you can dine in here. @travelgirl has posted about this restaurant the other day. You can check out her post here :)
