Travel Pro Hotels #4 : Royal Guest House, Chaing Mai Thailand

Royal Guest house is a good option for those traveling to Chaing Mai Thailand. It's near the south east corner just outside of the moat which encompasses the old city. They offer decent rooms, hot shower, wifi, free toast and coffee for breakfast. They have a friendly staff, and feature a swimming pool making this hotel a good place to hang out and meet fellow travelers, yet isn't a full on party atmosphere.

My main complaint was that the wifi in my room wasn't working when I was there. I met the owner, a young Thai guy who studied in Australia. He was really friendly, but very concerned and upset about the wifi not working as well. He said he was doing all he could to fix it, but was at the mercy of the internet company. I couldn't wait around for who knows how long without wifi while being addicted to steemit! With my travel experience things don't get fixed in a hurry in these parts of the world so I only stayed that one night.

I found myself having to listen to loud club music by the pool if I wanted internet at the hotel and then climb up five flights of stairs to my room. That being said if the wifi was working in my room I probably would have stayed as the price was only $10 dollars a night. Overall I was happy I left as I found a better place for $6.50 a night that I'll be writing about soon. Until next time - Dan "World Travel Pro!"
