先日、カナリア諸島のことについて書きました。

カナリア諸島は7つの島からなる群島です。私はこのうちの「ランサローテ島」という島を訪問しました。上の写真を見ていただくとお分かりかも知れませんが…「火山の島」として知られる場所です。

The Canaries consists of 7 islands, and I visited Lanzarote a few years ago. I think you'll notice that... this island is famous as "Volcano Island".
初めて訪問したのがGWを挟んだ1番チケットが高い時期。4つのフライトを乗りついで、この時は上海で８時間ほどの滞在時間があったとはいえ、27時間かけて行きました。
The first time I visited there was in late April to May, it was a long vacation season in Japan. So the ticket was high and not so easy to get. I had to choose cheap but a long flight with 3 transit, which took around 27 hours include 8 hours free time in Shanghai.
改めてカナリア諸島、ランサローテ島の位置です。
モロッコから一番近い位置で100kmほどしか離れていないそうです。
So this is the Canaries again, Lanzarote is the northeast part of these islands.
The closest place is only about 100 km from Morocco.
ヘロヘロになりながら、最後のフライト、マドリッドからはそれまで聞いたこともなかった「Air Europe」にお世話になります。実は到着後、スーツケースのコマが1個壊れて出てきたので必死にアピールしたんですけど、「君は4つも乗り継いだんだからどこで壊れたか解らないでしょ」的なことをスペイン語で話されて、トボトボ引き上げました。まぁ、似たようなことはけっこう経験してまして、最終的に日本に帰ってから旅行保険で直してもらえたんで良かったんですけどね。
I was exhausted when I arrived Madrid. But I was excited finally I could see the final destination of the word "Lanzarote". This was the first time for me to hear and use "Air Europe".
And actually after the arrival at the airport Arrecife, I noticed that one wheel of my suitcase was missing, so I asked the person who took care of it, but he just said "You had 4 flights so you do not know where it was broken" in Spanish... so I needed to give it up.
But actually this kind of things happened a lot in my journey^^; and I got fixing it with travel insurance after returning to Japan so I think it was ok...
そして空港の外に出てまず目に入るのがこの景色です。
この日はもう疲れ切ってたので、バタンキューで寝てしまいました。
This is a scenery first went out from the airport.
I was super exhausted, so I just had a little snack and white wine and went bed very soon.
そして翌朝の朝日…
滞在したのはこの建物の一角。そう、海が目の前です。
ヨーロッパの人の多くはバカンスで長期滞在を楽しむので、ホテルよりもこのようなシンプルなキッチン付きのアパートメントのようなところを借りて、自分で料理をしたり、レストランへ出掛けたりして3週間〜1ヶ月以上滞在することも少なくありません。
So this is a photo of next morning.
It stayed part of this building. Yes, the ocean is in front of this place. Generally speaking, it is not so easy for Japanese people to stay abroad so long time, so many people try to stay Hotels even it is a bit expensive. So we are not so used to stay this kind of self-type apartment with kitchen, so it was a new experience for me.
アパートの直ぐ前にこんなに大きな波がくることもあります。
このエリアは波が大きいことでも知られていて、多くの人が朝からここを訪れてサーフィンやボードを楽しんでいました。この海の向こうには…アフリカ大陸があるはずです。ちょっとロマンを感じますよね…。ちなみに手前はウチワサボテンです。
Sometimes we could see such a big wave in front of the apartment. This area is well known for its large waves, so many people visited here in the morning and enjoyed surfing or boards. Beyond this ocean ...
There is an African continent. I felt a bit romantic .... and we could see "prickly pear cactus" everywhere.
もし火星に人が住んでいたなら、こんな場所なのかなぁと思わずにはいられない景色です。
こうして短いランサローテ生活はここから始まりました＾＾ つづく
If people lives on Mars, I think it might be like such a place...
So... my short Lanzarote life started from that morning. to be continued ^^
