Seeking Freedom On The Road To Nomad Day 3

It is really day 5, but I am just now getting to writing about day 3. We have traveled 1383 in 5 days towing a 30 foot tow trailer. Between the driving, time change, setting up each night and tearing down each morning to get on the road, I am completely pooped out. Me and my husband @jbreheny decided to drive longer days in the beginning of our trip so we could travel less at the end and spend several days in the same place.

Our final destination is Yellowstone National Park where we will be working part time for the entire summer. So we continue our trek across the country from Florida to Wyoming.

Today we checked out of the awe inspiring High Falls State Park in Jackson, GA.If you ever get a chance to visit even for the day, it is well worth it. Check out the pics from Day 2.

We start out the morning with a nice serene drive through Atlanta, NOT! Atlanta is just crazy to drive through, but I planned our trip so we could drive through on a Sunday morning. See how calm my husband @jbreheny is? You got this Joe!

We survived the drive through Atlanta and into Tennessee. One of the most beautiful states in the US. We have visited all parts of Tennessee and never disappoints. I can't even think of words right now to describe the beauty, so I will give you the visual.

We are spending the evening at Montgomery Bell State Park which was once the center of the iron industry in the middle of Tennessee. The park is named after Montgomery Bell. Click on the link below if you would like to visit or read up on the history.

As we near the end of day 3 and park our asses for the night at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, TN, we have traveled a total of 778 miles and have 1584 to go. Tomorrow we head to Granite City, IL.
