A tree’s roots can spread wide or deep, and if its environment is right, if the soil that it grows in is soft and free of obstacles, a tree’s roots can spread both wide and deep.
Large trees don’t need deep roots to grow large. What they need are oxygen, moisture, and nutrients.
A tree’s roots seek these three things.
Let this be your meditation today.
Be like a tree: Breathe. And reach out to what nourishes you.
