What do these Japanese kanji characters mean in Big Brother 18 room?

I've been watching this season and they call this the Tokyo room, but wondering if any steemit members can tell what they mean.

Here is the other angle showing the opposite wall with some more writing on it.

This pic is when they toured that house and said the characters above the door are Japanese for telephone, and I found it in Google translate テレフォン telephone. But most of the characters look like Chinese kanji which they use mixed in with their basic character sets which I learned about from some exchange students back in the day when I was in university.

I'm watching the live feeds sometimes, and I keep coming back to wondering what there characters mean. Paul who has coined "friendship" and "P-issed" was joking at one point that they could be some totally messed up meanings that they will have to guess at the end of the show. I think that's doubtful, but it would be fun to know if someone who can read them would share.

Thanks in advance for helping me stop thinking about this silly thing over and over for no reason. But your brain gets stuck on things sometimes, and mine is stuck on figuring out what these characters mean.
