Zedd paced angrily, sweat running down his back in rivulets. His shirt was sticking to his body showing the perfect outline of a manly chest. He looked with disgust at the human women who fawned and fainted on seeing him. Their constant chatter was getting on his nerves. He resisted the urge to cry out in frustration. He was trying to keep his anger down, he didn't want to transform in their preesence. That would be giving them what they wanted. He refused to make a spectacle of himself. He owed it to his tribe as their alpha. He wondered what the twins would be planning now. He just hoped they won't get into trouble trying to break him out of his prison.

He had been captured two days ago at the edge of the river. He should never have trusted her...that devious creature that had tempted him so much he almost ran made with want. She had betrayed him, selling him out to her fellow humans, uncaring what would happen to his family without their alpha. He hit the bars in anger and promptly gave a little cry of pain.

He laughed sarcastically, the humans had been well informed. Werewolves were allergic to silver. It was the only prison they could never break out from and this one was well covered with silver. How he wished his old friend were still alive. He would have been out of here ages ago. Edward's teleporting abilities would really be useful at a time like this.

Scarlet would pay for her betrayal, once he was out of here, he would deal with her. He should have listened to Dylan, his brother. Dylan had warned him against revealing his true nature to the human woman but he had been so full of love and trust that he had not listened. Love really was blind and deaf and extremely stupid.

He should have known when she kept nagging him for answers to questions about what he was and what would harm him and foolishly, he had fallen into her trap and told her his weakness with a smile on his face. Thank goodness he had been distracted that he hadn't told her about the location of his community. They would have all been in cages alongside him.

His was one of the oldest tribes of werewolves. They have managed to survive this long because of the ritual which was due in three days. His presence was important as the alpha of his tribe. It was extremely important he broke out of prison.

"Isn't he awesome, look at those biceps. Look at his hair, i want to run my hands through it. I could lay all night on his fiiine chest."

"I totally agree, who needs a man when you can have an animal instead. Do you think he would change into his animal form if his desire is aroused."

Their chatter caught his attention again.

"Foolish human women. Is that all they could think about?" He thought in disgust.

"On the other hand, they could be the key to his freedom." He smiled at that realisation. He would turn his full charm on them and one of them was sure to succumb. Hope made him stand straight and smile brightly revealing those adorable dimples that he was sure women could not resist. He saw them all smile back and his heart leaped for joy. The first step was established. Time for action.
