"Welcome folks! I am Gene Rover your host for tonight's historical event. On this day July 17, 2019 Bradley Amers returns to earth after traveling light speed to an unknown destination. He rode on the famous Spacebullet 350. A vehicle so fast that it travels the speed of light. A brave local man Bradley Amers has just returned from just such a flight.
Here tonight are onlookers, just waiting here outside of this building. After a quick debriefing, Bradley Amers will come out and speak with us.
... It is a chilly night here in Warm Springs Florida. Residents don't seem to mind the cold ...in fact lets get the views of some of the folks here.
"Hey sir..you excited to be here tonight?" He asked a man dressed in a silver space suit with a tin foil hat.
"Yesssiree Bob." The man answered happily. I wanna know if it feels like a rollercoaster or a plane ride...hahha." The anchor gave him the look.
"Well, we will just have...uh oh ladies and gentlemen, I see Mr Ayers coming out of the building now. "
People started to scramble towards Mr Ayers and yell questions and take pictures. Mr Ayers was accompanied by a man in dark suit who spoke first.
"Thank you all for coming. My name is Sid Raymond and I created the Spacebullet 350.". The crowd cheered. He proudly continued.
"And this trip to the world beyond has revolutionized travel forever!! "
The crowd went crazy with applause. We will be accepting applications for future trips today!! And now it is my pleasure to introduce Mr Bradley Amers!! "
The crowd went wild yelling "Amers! Amers!" and snapping pictures.
Mr. Amers walked to the podium and held up his hands to quiet the crowd.
"Thank you. It is an honor to be here."
The crowd gasped. Someone yelled.
"Whats wrong with your voice dude?"
A lady joked " You sound like Alvin from the Chipmunks"
Everyone started laughing at Mr Amers. Mr Raymond quickly grabbed the mic and said "This voice thing is a minor side effect from traveling at the speed of light. It is temporary....
Now if you are interested filling out an application, please do so inside with our clerk."
The crowd started to get uneasy. "I wanna thank you all for coming out.". Mr Raymond leaned over and whispered to Mr Amers. " This will soon pass. Hey ...look you are a hero. You have money and fame. Life will be great."
Mr Amers looked at Mr Raymond and whispered a question "How do I explain my small marble like testicles to my wife?
Mr Raymond whipsered back
" Did you read the fine print in the application?
Mr. Amers did not.
