So we visited a pedia at Mabuhay Clinic yesterday. It was our first time meeting Doctor Miki Yamoto and yes, she is a Filipino and very thorough in explaining. No sore throat, just phlegm that she wanted to have my son a good night’s sleep so she gave us salbutamol but she explained that this doesn't mean that he got asthma. We got salbutamol in the house but we were reluctant to use it because it is intended for people with asthma, as we know of.
After our check up, we went to the mall to buy my husband's hair trimmer. We are thinking that we can save money by buying our own since my husband and son needs a trimming every month. Now, they have their own trimmer and no need to run to the salon. Average monthly savings: 50 AED.
It was past 6 in the evening that we reached home last night. My son got his 1 hour sleep that we were worried he might sleep very late and gave him a salbutamol nebulizer at 11:00 PM but right after we turned off the lights, he lay down with us and 30 minutes later, he dozed to sleep. It was a good night sleep because he just woke up once that gave us a chance to sleep well too.
Just this morning, he was still asleep as we send him to his Aunt before we go to our respective works. He really needs to rest to make up for the sleepless nights he had for the past 2 weeks. So far, so good.
