Ulog #6 -Ramadan Kareem to My Muslim Friends - @xxxirenexxx

"Ramadan kareem" is a greeting which means "happy ramadan". "Ramadan mubarak" on the other hand, means "have a generous ramadan" as this season is not only for fasting but time for giving and sharing. This has started yesterday and will lasts for a month.

Although it is not my religion, Islam has been part of my life eversince I came to work and live in this country, which of course is a Muslim dominated place. In addition, I came to meet people who belong in this religion and all are really good persons, not to mention of course my beloved, Imran. In our school, we have learned to pay respect to the religion of the host country. Students are taught about respecting the culture too.

It is in this place that I have learned that living harmoniously with other people from other religion and culture is possible. It's only a matter of respect.
