DTube Upvoting - Your Content Isn't Always Bad

Hello, friend and welcome back to another exciting vlog post by yours truly. Something got into me today...maybe it's something I ate, or maybe @dtube is just plain awesome. Or both!

I left a couple bloopers throughout the video that I didn't cut because I want to show you a side of me that I don't reveal as often as I should. I then tried to play it off like they were actually part of the video which I guess they do add more flavor to it.

Anyways, let's dive into the topic...DTube upvoting and your content not always being bad. What do I mean by that? What do I mean when I say that your content isn't always the issue?

This might be you..."What?? I didn't get a DTube upvote? Darn it...what in the world is happening? Maybe my content stinks. My life stinks...why do I even waste my time on here? I'm going back to my job, this is crazy!"

The fact of the matter, friend, is that DTube is simply sharing the upvotes with the rest of the community. Bingo! Light bulb moment. There are other creators on the platform who also have amazing content and DTube is recognizing those creators.

This is important to keep in mind, and that is the fact that your content will get skipped occasionally. The reason for that is not because your content stinks necessarily, but because you already got 2 or 3 upvotes from DTube this week, and they are spreading the love with others so that other amazing creators keep creating and sharing on the platform.

When sharing of the upvote occurs, it builds up the community and strengthens it to a higher degree. It allows for other creators to enjoy the rewards of putting in hours of their time to impact the lives of others.

Is there a chance that your content needs improvement? Yes, of course...everyone's content has room to improve. But, that is not the sole reason you did not receive the upvote. The reason is because you won't get the vote every time, and neither will I.

The best thing to focus on is excellence. That is the main point I want to drive home in this post. Focus on creating with excellence and consistency, and you will get your fair share of upvotes. Take the time to put up posts that your audience will enjoy.

The more you focus on "not receiving the upvote", the more you won't receive it. Spend your time letting your imagination flow, just like I did in this video. Spend your time being grateful for the opportunity of earning Steem by doing what you love to do.
