US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is reportedly planning to trial a blockchain platform that will allow it to verify NAFTA and CAFTA certificates.
The system will formally launch in September and will enable the CBP to check an imported product’s origin, authenticate trademarks, and verify information about items' physical properties.
