Project Details

Verdaccio is a lightweight private NPM proxy registry in which you can host your own private NPM repository free of charge.

Verdaccio is an NPM package which allows you to create a local NPM registry, without any configuration.

It's perfect for developers who want extra privacy when developing new packages and for company projects that aren't meant to be shared with the public.

Contribution Specifications

Verdaccio is currently being translated into 3 different languages: Spanish, Chinese Simplified and Portuguese, I contributed to making the Verdaccio project accessible to the Spanish speaking community online.

Some of the folders I was assigned to translate were Configuration File (How Verdaccio is set up), Developing Plugins (The plugins supported by Verdaccio) and Logger (The settings of Verdaccio's logger).

Languages

The project's source language is English and it was translated to Spanish.

Besides collaborating on Open Source Projects on Crowdin I also work as a Freelance Translator for a law firm in the US, I've been working for that company for 6 months translating sworn statements and legal documents from English to Spanish and viceversa.
