👍 Steemit Tricks Every Steemian Should Know- Let's Get You Noticed 😎

Wow, Cool how did you get those emojis in your title ? Well that is just one of the many things we will go over in this topic. Today I would like to discuss, Steemit tricks every steemian should know. Let's get you noticed !

Add A Picture Or Image To Your Topic

First up we have one of the most important aspects of getting your post noticed, A picture or image. I see too many topics started with 0 pictures in them. This is bad due to the fact that your article / topic will go mostly un-noticed due to the fact it will blend in among the others. With so many blogs / articles being created on Steemit on an hourly bases, adding a picture or image to your topic is essential for getting noticed by the masses.

Learn The Basic Computer Codes On Steemit

You don't need to be a computer wiz to do this. You can make your article stand out by using some of these basic codes. Below are some to get you started.

<"b">Use this code to make your sentence bold<"/b">
When you remove the quotation marks it will look like the below
Use this to make your sentence bold

Use _ to write in italic text. Just make sure the _ is attached to the first word / phrase you want to make italic and also make sure it is attached to the last word in the phrase. This is a great feature to use when you are quoting someone. For example :

Jon said, " I don't like beats". vs. Jon said, " I don't like beats ". Attach _ to I and again attach _ at the end of beats to get the desired results.

Hide Your Raw Links

For example : I am currently running a SBD Giveway and if I wanted to include a link to the topic here in this article I could copy and paste the link address and it would look like the below.

@rentmoney/numbers-game-win-free-sbd

While there's nothing wrong with doing it that way, in some cases it might be a better idea to " hide " or place the link in a sentence and once it's clicked the user will be re-directed to your article. To accomplish this use the code []*() and simply put the sentence you want displayed between [] and the raw link to your article between(). Remove the * and It will look like this -- > Win Free SBD - The Numbers Game

Increase the size of your text

This is very easy to do and makes your article stand out.

All you have to do is include # before the sentence you want to enlarge. Make sure there is a space between # and the first word in your sentence.

Emojis

Bid Bots

Have you ever wondered how some of the crap you see gets to the trending page. I know I sure did and with a little digging I learned about Bid Bots. While some frown on the use of them while others only frown on the abuse of them. Bid Bots is a hot topic on Steemit. The truth is .... Most of the articles you see on the trending page have large amounts of paid for votes on them. Some of these bots will give you an instant upvote ( for a fee ) and others you bid on for a portion of their over all vote value. For example Bot 1 has an up-vote worth $50 and Three people decide to bid on it's service. All three bid $20. This would mean that all three bidders would receive an equal share of the bots vote at 33 % each. If you are lucky enough to be the only bidder, you would receive 100 % of the bots up-vote. If you are going to use a bid bot check out https://steembottracker.com/ to make sure you are not spending $2 for a $1 up-vote.

Interact With Others

Possibly one of the most important things on this list. While we all get caught up on growing our following and putting out articles of our own, don't forget to visit your followers blogs and also the blogs of others with the same interest as you. After-all, how can you expect others to visit your blog and comment / up-vote your content if you are not doing the same.

Have Fun !

Don't stress too much over why your not getting as many up-votes as you would like or why your article ( that is much better then the one on the trending page ) only has a few cents in rewards. Just focus on writting articles on topics that interest you and have fun. This will help attract the right type of followers that will continue to visit your blog and you theirs. If your not having fun then what's the point ?

I hope this article has helped you in some way.
