Vintage trucks seemed to be everywhere I went in the last week or so. I shot the first one on my trip to Charlotte with my Sony A7ii. It was a 1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck. It had just enough rusty spots to make it interesting.
Here’s a 1946 Chevrolet 3100 I shot with my iPhone X in Old Town Alexandria over last weekend. I love the two tone paint job. This one had a large model of a horse in the truck bed. I’m not sure what the horse was about but it had a sign for Hard Times Cafe on the side and was parked in front of the restaurant. I haven’t seen one of those restaurants in a long time, but I remember they had great Cincinnati style chili.
