Travel trailer repairs part 2. Ready for action.

Continuing with our trailer repairs from last time, we will be fixing the battery wiring. As you can see it has had some repairs done in the past by someone not very experienced.

These twist connectors are not to be used in automotive wiring. They do not seal and corrosion will prevent a connection.

The wire was even loose inside this crimp connector. It really does need to be soldered.

All soldered up and heatshrink over the connections will ensure years of trouble free service.

A couple of the cushions were torn as well. Never fear Ed's mom can take care of that in no time.

Three of the tires were very deeply cracked, you could actually see the steel belts. So I bought two new tires and the third cracked Tire will serve as a spare for now...

There it is the Jayfeather, all ready to go(I think).
Stay tuned for Ed's "Family Adventures with Jay"
