Today I was on a podcast program talking about my son and his vaccine injury. I also touched in further detail the things used to stay connected and unlock him. If you want to see the podcast you can watch it here, got to say this pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I am glad I did it.
I talked about technology and and how we were able to use it early on to communicate better as he could speak but if was difficult to have conversations with him, technology helped unlock him, but it also help educate him. Because my son had early computer interests and knew how to use a computer really good before his injury, it was natural for us, but since there has been scientific studies proving what I knew naturally, you can read more about the use of technology and autism here. https://www.iidc.indiana.edu/pages/the-use-of-technology-in-treatment-of-autism-spectrum-disorders
Depending on the child a computer might work better than a tablet, but I truly believe that technology can help unlock those with autism, along with detoxing, good wholesome non GMO foods, and graze fed meats. These things helped my son and though yes I wish he was not injured, he was and we live with it. When it first happened I was mad, but I gotten over being mad, and now I look at what he has accomplished and all that he will accomplish.
This is one of the cases I referenced in the interview that was helped and unlocked with technology. She is on the opposite end of the spectrum but it goes to show that it helps no matter where they fall on the spectrum.
