FLINT, MI -- A source familiar with Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette's scheduled news conference on the Flint water crisis Wednesday, June 14, says additional criminal charges will be announced.
Schuette has called a news conference for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Flint but a spokeswoman did not elaborate on the reason for it, declining to comment further.
The filing of new criminal charges would mark the fourth time the attorney general has made such an announcement.
In April, July and December of 2016, a total of 13 current and former city of Flint and state employees were charged with criminal wrongdoing related to the water crisis.
