Ourhuma is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi webcomic that takes place in terraformed Mars - now known as the planet “Huma”. Huma is recovering from a worldwide cataclysm that was caused by powerful, all consuming celestial beings known as The Morte.
Our story starts in the far future where the planet Mars is artificially modified of its atmosphere, temperature, surface topography and ecology and it is flushed with life. After millenniums of warfare during a dark period of humanity since the emergence of the Morte, the very first, and now the final fortress of Humanity solely remains- a massive metropolis called Neo Babylon. Hundred of years since the departure of the Morte, The Human government decided to invest sources to recollect any lost technology, historical sources and information about the original humans, the lost Original Homeworld, and the lost details about our strife with the Morte and the cause of their downfall. Outside the protective barrier of Neo Babylon is mostly dangerous unknown territories scattered with abandoned and inactive Morte, strange out of grid human settlements and rumors of new sentient species scattered throughout the now unknown planet.
Our story is about an introverted detached boy named Janui Magi who is searching for his mysterious missing sister, Jera. To search for her, Janui decides to join Neo Babylon’s politically powerful organization called TROGC to participate in their planet scale mass expedition to cartograph and recolonize the remainder population of the ravaged planet, a perfect opportunity to search for his sister.So that's the prologue so far! I hope you guys will enjoy the story I've always wanted to tell for a long time! I'll be posting a page every week starting next friday and I'll explain my process of creating my comic page. It'll be a mix of story telling and a somewhat art tutorial and how I create my work! I'll even post my concept art and other cool things that will be fun to explain in context of the story!
