Leadership is a big responsibility in one's life. A person who is given the responsibility to lead means carrying a burden of responsibility on his shoulders. Because a leader no longer thinks of himself. What is in his head is not his own problems. The destination is not good for him personally. A leader must also think about the progress of the group he leads, must be able to do something to develop the group he leads, must be able to give good to the group and the people he leads. A leader no longer speaks of "me" but has spoken and done for "us"
Because of the heavy burden that a leader carries. On the basis of such an important role a leader possesses. Thus, a leader must be able to upgrade his abilities. Improve his quality and boost his potential. In order for a heavy load and a very important role it can be run very well. Ability, quality and potential it is a capital that must be owned by everyone who will become a leader. There are at least three forces a leader must possess. Namely, the power of Vision, the power of communication and exemplary power.
The first magic bean seed is Vision
In his words, vision means the ability to see at the heart of the matter. Vision can also mean also a far-sighted view or insight. In the organizational context, vision can be intended as a basic goal or big dreams that become the main goals of the organization or group. This purpose is the main reason for the formation of such organizations or groups. And vision is also a great things to be achieved within a certain time range.
Leaders must have a strong vision of leadership. This means that he knows clearly in his leadership of the organization or group he leads will be taken to where. Because like a ship, the leader is the skipper of the vessel. Leaders who determine the direction or path that will be taken by the organization. A leader in his role in a leader's organization should be able to recognize the path to be pursued in order to achieve the stated goal. That's why leaders must have a strong vision in the lead.

The second magic bean I think of as the power of communication
Communication is a process of delivering the mind or information from one person to another in a certain way so that the other person understands very well what is meant by the transmitter of thoughts or information ". (Komaruddin, 1994; Schermerhorn, Hunt & Osborn, 1994; Koontz & Weihrich, 1988). And communication can be effective if the message is received and understood as intended by the sender of the message, the message is followed up by an action by the recipient of the message and there is no obstacle to it (Hardjana, 2003).
Communication is important in an organization. Because the organization is a collection of many people and communication here has an important role in the organization. One of them is maintaining organizational solidity. Many examples of cases of an organization or group did not go well and even experienced a split because of communication problems. Either between fellow elements of the organization leadership, between leaders and members or among fellow members. Therefore, in building an organization and running the organization, communication becomes a very important thing to be maintained by all elements in the organization.
The power of communication is absolutely essential for every leader. Because the leader is the person who will provide direction and guidance for every movement and work that will be done by each member. The communication power of a leader guarantees conformity between what the leader wants his members to do and what his members do after getting direction from the leader. So there is a good harmonization of movement between the wishes of the leader and the work done by the members.
There are several things that a leader must be able to communicate well to his members. The power of communication from a leader aims to show the path and steps the organization will take in achieving its goals and in dealing with every problem. First the leader must be able to communicate what makes his vision. And it is expected that members will know what they are going to be with the leader. So if in the middle of the way the organization is having problems and it appears the organization has started "off the track" then the members in this case can provide views and remind to restore the organization on the right track.
The second is the thing that should be able to be communicated well by the leader in an organization is the conditions and problems that are and will be faced by the organization or group in achieving the set goals. Good communication from the leader of the conditions and problems faced will result in awareness of each member of the roles and tasks he can perform in the face of any problems. But surely not all problems must be conveyed to the members. Quite the things that really pertain to them. Therefore communication of this must be done well by every leader. The power of a leader's communication must also be owned in terms of communication to those outside the organization. Communication to external organizations will strengthen and be a process of marketisation itself against the organization or group.
The third magic bean seeds exemplary
And the third force a leader must possess is exemplary power. This means that a leader must give exemplary to lead its members in taking the "path" to achieve the goal or vision that has been made. Exemplary is one of the tasks that must be done by a leader, as the term expressed by Ki Hajar Dewantara "Ing Ngarso sung tulada" which means in front of us to be role models.
The exemplary of the leader is the "motor" driving the most effective elements of the organization. Because the concept in an example will be more meaningful than a thousand words. A leader who is able to give exemplary will be more beloved, more respected and will be more followed than the leaders who can only speak and be ethical. Exemplary is one form of communication that must be executed by a leader to its members.
We have seen how the leadership of the Messenger of Allah who is filled with exemplary. He not only knew what problems were being faced, but also the Apostle understood how the problem was solved. This means that in the leadership process performed, the Apostle is not only present in the natural words of rhetoric in the face of a problem but also the Apostle in the stage of charity and action to solve the problems experienced by Muslims at that time. For example in the war of Khandaq how the Apostle took part in the process of making the trenches.
Exemplary strength of a leader will be able to move all elements of the organization to work together in achieving the goals and vision set. Exemplary will "warm" relationships between leaders and members without reducing the respect of members to leaders. Even exemplary will further increase the respect for leaders who are able to give exemplary.
