THE WILD-MAN'S WILD FRIENDS VIDEO SERIES - EPISODE 31 - HERMIT CRAB

Finding these all over is like being at a free, wild pet shop!

Hermit Crabs are a large super-family of over 1000 individual species. With both aquatic and terrestrial species, they can be found in a variety of places.

We found some near South Padre island when we went to the beach the other day. Sure, I cut my head open in the process, but we still made some good memories.

These ones happen to be an aquatic species that can be found all over one the shores and in the water. We found some while snorkeling too, which was exciting for the @little-peppers. One of my favorite functions that these crabs serve is being part of the ocean's cleanup crew, and helping to remove carrion from the ocean floor. For more info, check out the video.

The information is the video is original but I did have a quick refresher from this source.
