Today there was a catastrophic error on Steem blockchain. Every full node and witness node had crashed all together and the entire block producing stopped for the unacceptable period.
Now the top 20 witnesses are fully on, and service is back to norm. However the quality of service and our reputation have been seriously damaged and we all have to do very hard work to get our reputation back. This is no-one's fault and we shouldn't blame anyone. Let's groom up hard and shine again.
Stricter Warning
Today I made a quick fix to Witness Insight tool to depict the current situation. I set the secure version threshold to 0.19.5 so that whoever running lower than that will have a warning sign. Warning is not stricter to stimulate the witnesses to manage their witness nodes and votes more carefully and frequently.
