In @cervantes' project we want to keep betting on the writers that show their literary quality in Steemit using Spanish in their works. That's why we're going to launch the contest we're explaining below.
The contest is divided in two different phases. The first phase is going to be a 10 weeks one, starting today and will last until ends of august (31.08.2017). The first week winners will be announced next Sunday. The second phase will last 15 days and It will finish on the 16.09.2017.
First Phase
Basis of the first phase contest
- If the post is text, it must be written in Spanish with a minimum of 350 words. Poetry can be shorter
- The content must be 100% original, if we have evidences that there's been plagiarism, the user will be automatically excluded of the contest and flagged.
- Every user can participate just once every week.
- To identify the post, the title must be: "Concurso Cervantes: 1ª Entrega" and the article must be posted with just these two tags: "spanish concursocervantes"
- At the end of the post you'll have to embed a text making reference to the contest sponsorship by the witness @cervantes. For example like this:

All participants will be rewarded with a 5% vote of the Cervantes' Trail

Second Phase (Final)
The jury will announce the winner in a post published by @cervantes user between September 15th-17th.
Second Phase contest PRIZE
- Financing the flight ticket within a maximum of 1000 SBD.
- Financing the hotel costs of those days in Lisbon (1st-5th Nov.) within a maximum of 500 SBD.
- 100 SBD a day for food and expenses.
CERVANTES' CONTEST: FIRST WEEK
Salvador Dalí (11th May 1904 - 23rd January 1989)
He was a multitalented Spanish artist known worldwide not only for his work, but also for being one of the main representative of the Surrealism movement.
With a modern and extremely bizarre personality, who provoked a lot of people critics and at the same time the compliments of many others. His surrealist paintings were able to transport us to amazing worlds in reach to just a few minds.
The work we've chosen is 'The Memory persistence', also known as 'The soft clocks' or 'The Melted Clocks'. It's one of the most representative Dalí's paintings, finished in 1931.
