About Us

We are a group of four. We are all educated and experienced technology and business professionals. No one has less than a decade in their respective field. Most have more, far more. We don't overstep on each-other's roles and defer to one another in areas requiring specific expertise, such as development or technical operations. Most of you only speak to 'Patriot' who is the project manager and the face of the group. Hopefully one day soon, maybe at the next SteemFest, you will meet the rest of us.

Up until now we never lifted a finger for an open source project or a public-focused project of any kind. We admit this. We are the types to only develop our own projects or client projects. Everything was private, everything focused on income generation and personal rewards. STEEM and its ecosystem, its potential, changed all that. There is a certain level of satisfaction in putting in efforts that benefit an open community of people rather than ultimately just a few. We're not making anything close to breaking even here.

We're pretty simple to understand. We value unity and disapprove of anything divisive. That will tell you who and what we support. Anything that intends to divide the community or peg groups against one another we're automatically against. What we do like is self-reliance, responsibility, accountability, transparency and self-determination.

They're still here, 30 of them, but half are already spoken for. Comment if you'd like us to send you one. Email guiltyparties[at]protonmail.com with your mailing address. It's free to participate. You get a card in the mail, that's about it. Maybe we'll throw in something else but no promises.

SteemSilverGold

Community curation and support ongoing. To dispel some confusion, we wrote and run the commenter bot for @silvergoldbotty but not the main voting algorithm. She comments at midnight each day on whatever she voted on. We finally wrapped up that Buried Treasure contest with two winners who split the rewards. The SP generated during the contest has been delegated to @silvergoldbotty as promised. It's a small gift that will keep on giving.

Veterans @chairborne

Man there are a lot of veterans around here. It seems that we are adding new users daily and spreading the word about STEEM and Steemit outside of the platforms the best we can. Looking over the veterans curation posts we generate daily we've got a very diverse bunch. Some are into fiction, some blog about anarchy, others write about crypto, etc. The only thing anyone has in common is that they wore a uniform for a time. And not even one from the same country.

Intro Tag Spammers

We were thinking of closing it down for a while but it's still going strong. The weekly posts aren't the prettiest things out there but going through them allows us and other anti-abuse initiatives to figure out who it is that's gaming the system and who is just making a mistake. We've discovered some great users and some great assholes.

Helping Hand

It's about time this thing had a name. Over the past week several users have confused us with Steemit Inc customer support staff (uncertain if there's such a thing). What we do is go on the chats and just help new users and users who never quite figured it out. Help them understand the blockchain, how information is stored, what they can do to achieve their goals, how to post original content, etc. We don't flag or throw a shit fit if someone direct messages without a go-ahead. We just try to be decent people to other decent people. That's about it on this one.
