Do you know what's even worse than your witness server crashing 2 days in a row?
Yep. It crashing 3 days in a row.
Got woken up at 6:30 am on Sunday by my lovely ding-notification that I lost a block .
While the lost-block is unfortunate, the real tragedy is the fact that the server crashed again - even though I made sure to set it up properly.
The server is still not reachable, so I have no way of analysing the whole situation. My backup server is also not yet ready from the provider, so at this point I will re-activate my witness as soon as soon as I got the go from my provider to setup my backup-server - which should be in around 1-2 days.
Luckily, Steem has enough backup-witnesses to cover my deactivated witness so that should be any problem - but for me personally, the whole situation is quite frustrating - but I'm trying to keep it positive!
