The theme for this week's wiwcontest (white is white contest) is – LANDSCAPE WITH WHITE STRUCTURE.
"POINT CLEVELAND LIGHT" is my entry for this contest hosted by @dmcamera.
Cleveland Light is the lighthouse situated on the northern tip of Cleveland Point at Cleveland in Queensland, Australia. It overlooks Moreton Bay to the east and Raby Bay to the west. This new lighthouse was established in 1976. It was dissembled in 2009 to make room for a large boat prop which was used in the film, "The Chronicles of Nania. The Voyage of The Dawn Trader."
It was restored in 2010 when ownership was transferred to the Redland City Council mainly as a tourist icon as opposed to its original maritime safety function.
