We met many people and their dogs while on our adventures. Everyone was fascinated by the little wolfy pup. There are only a handful in the whole of Ireland.
But there were a lot of people who were wary of Luna and letting their dogs play with her as she grew. Dogs need socialising with other dogs and humans. It was strange in a way, as it was usually the small dogs that were off lead and out of control that would target Luna, snarling and snapping whilst she looked on bemused.
Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs are not an aggressive breed and are not really suitable as guard dogs. Generally they are not "barkers", they are more vocal in that they "talk". I have to say that Luna seems to be the exception and has a lot to say. She also likes to have the last word. 😀 (it's a good thing that Lucius is the strong silent type.)
So, I decided to find a brother for Luna. The same breeder also bred Wolf hybrid/Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs. They are F3, the legal requirement for owning a wolf hybrid that one can walk publicly in some countries. (they are just three generations away from wolf). Luna could be excitable, and the idea was that a chilled hybrid would calm Luna. And so Lucius, aka Prince Lucius Wolf came to join the pack.
And life was about to change again forever.
