I am so excited to share that @WomenEmpowerment recently have received an order from steemit. I was promoting the products continuously. And it is the third time we received confirm order from steemians.
What is Women Empowerment and why should we buy products from them?
@WomenEmpowerment was founded by Mohammed Abdul Aziz @azizbd to empower some underprivileged women on 7 January 2018 who are from the different slums. The social venture helps them to access free training and get paid for their work. @WomenEmpowerment focuses on Sustainable Development Goal 5 which is "Gender Equality and Women Empowerment ". The development of the venture will help to create employment for these slum women.
@WomenEmpowerment received the order of above hand embroidered wall mat from @r2cornell. The price of wall mat is 6 USD or equivalent amount of Steem/BTC excluding shipping cost. The cost of the mat varies due to materials and labour cost. But I want to pay good wages to our workers. It will take around 4-5 hours to complete the hand embroidery by the women. And they will make it when they are free and passing leisure time. We also received interest to buy @womenempowerment's products from @karenfoster and @Kaylinart .

If you are looking for a gift that is unique that you won't find in stores, you might want to check out @azizbd blog he is always sharing projects the women are doing and that are available for sale. I can't wait for my girls to see these for Christmas. I see them both using them as make up bags.
