I wrote a post about a week ago urging people to use steem for more purchases and accept steem for more sales. I see that as a simple move that can allow more people to participate in Steem’s economy (steemonomy?). But then I started to ask myself what I really want to do more of.
I write resumes and my clients give me great reviews but I want to do less of that, not more. The same goes for social media content writing. If I’m going to do anything for more steem, I think it should be things others get value from that also give me joy and help me get into that flow state.
So here’s what I came up with:
Steem-busking
I’ll post videos of myself covering songs of my choosing with the tag #steembusking and request tips. It’ll be like regular busking except it won’t be live (or in person). I'd prefer if you let me know what song you're tipping in the wallet memo (so I'll know what's working and what's not) but it's not absolutely necessary. And tips of whatever size you feel comfortable with are welcome.
Cover requests
For the low cost of 3 Steems and a resteem, I’ll cover a song of your choosing. Send the steem to my wallet with the name of the song and artist and I’ll either create the cover and post it or return your steem with an apology (if I can’t manage it).
Art
This one’s mostly going to take place outside of steemit but it’s worth a mention. From now on whenever I post art, I’ll include Peerhub and OpenBazaar links where copies can be purchased. This one’s a work in progress.
I’m still figuring this out but I think it’s better to start and correct myself along the way. I’ll probably include some writing services eventually. I’d definitely be willing to write a haiku for your spouse, your pet or whoever. Feel free to include more suggestions in the comments (and try out the steembusking tag). You can include links to your own work4steem or steemjobs posts as well if you like. Thanks for reading and as always, upvotes, resteems and follows are appreciated!
