This Friday I was out with some friends. We started at a beer place, drank some, had dinner and then went to the sugarhouse to play poker.
Then we came up with the idea of a:
Workout Challenge
All of us want to be a little more healthy and work out a bit more. And for me this always requires a bit of a kick. So we decided on the following terms
- Everyone has to workout at least 10 times a month. This allows for maybe a week of sickness or vacation but generally puts us into having to workout 2-3 times a week
- A workout is at least 30 minutes of real activity. Driving the bike to work does not count.
- Every workout will be documented via a post here on steem
- If we fall short for whatever reasons we owe the other persons $500
- This means we may potentially lose $1000 a month since there are 3 people involved
- Since we are already in the first week of May, this month only requires 6 workouts
The other two gamblers that are part of this challenge are @henryvan and @sreitman. These are both new users that have never used steem before.
I am stoked, as now I have 1000 reasons every month to go to the gym, besides the one that should have been enough all along.
