Van Morrison is a songer and a songwriter, and he is playing several instruments. He is famous worldwide for his quality in music! And he is coming from Belfast in the Northern Ireland! Don’t be afraid of calling him, we are welcome everywhere!
Van Morrisons real name is George Ivan Morrison, and hence the name Van Morrison is just an abbreviation! He masters multiple instruments, among other things the guitar, the harmonica, the keyboard, the drums and the saxophone. He is also playing these instruments in good ways, and he sings wonderful and philosophical songs with an excellent content! Many people at all levels in different countries love his existence, and his kind of music. He is born at 31. August in 1945, and accordingly he is soon 74 years now! So, you include yourself and the band when having such a brand name! Van Morrison had success with songs like «Baby Please Don’t Go», «Gloria» and «Here Comes The Night». Van Morrison worked with music in the band «Them» from 1964 to 1966, and since 1966 he has used his knowledges and his talents with the band «The Wheels». He has been married twice, with Janet Planet from 1968 to 1973, and with Michelle Rocca from 1992 to 2018.
Van Morrison had two children. One is with Janet Planet, and one is with Gigi Lee. With Janet Planet he got the girl Shana Morrison, and she was born in 1970. Van Morrison got another child in another relation, and that was a boy with another lover than his marriage at that specific time, and he got the child with the lady called for Gigi Lee. Gigi Lee died of cancer just 44 years old. The babys name was George Ivan Morrision III, and he was called for «Little Van». He died just after living 13 months, and that was a hard experience for Van Morrison. When you love somebody, you are expected them to live the life as it comes!
Van Morrison has not been equally productive in all his years, and he had a down in 1970s. In 1982, he came back with the song «Beautiful Vision». In 1988, he cooperated with the group Chieftains with the success album «Irish Heartbeat». He has done music together with Cliff Richard, Georgie Fame and John Lee Hooker in 1987 with the song: «Whenever God Shines His Light On Me». All things are about the nature and the God, and much philosophy in all ways has a focus on just that. And there has been much wondering on this through all history of man kind!
As Bob Dylan, Van Morrison is a media-shy person, and he does not love to speak with the media! But he has done it several times, otherwise he should not have done it according to his personal views and personal opinions. Hence, Van Morrison has been called for sir Van Morrison!
