The world inventions: The science of earthquakes!

You know, earthquake can do a lot of damages, and it can destroy districts, villages, towns or cities. There is much power in an earthquake, and the forces come from the inner circles of the earth!

The earth is moving from second to second, it is not just a fixed mass! Every day earth plates move against each other, and these moves lead to large or small wave movements in the earth’s crust. Hence, we experience earthquakes from time to time, and some countries and some places at earth are more exposed than other areas. There are small or large shakes here or there, and an eartquake can have consequences for people living and working on the outer crust of the globe!

In most cases, an earthquake is happening because two sides of a crack in the earth suddenly slip in relation to each other. And we earthquake has a center, and this can be strong and damaging, and there are going out lower wave movements to other parts of the earth! Many people survive earthquakes, but they can destroy in some seconds all the pleasure and all the wealth that people have accumulated through many years in countries and in different small communities of a country.

So, which sciences should one use to understand earthquakes? One should use physics, and seismic waves that are occuring from one event to the next. If you are staying at home in a country with little risk for eartquake, you are relatively safe. The problems come when you are travelling to risky areas. The earth is in movement from time to time, and this is the reason why the maps and the continents back in time differ from period to period! Any earthquake has a center and seismic waves, and the seismic waves give out low-frequency acoustic energy.

Every detail and every large incidence you find in the world and in the universe, there can be made understanding of. And if there is no or bad understanding today, new and pioneering research can make the explanations of facts that happen even stronger, better functioning and for knowing what to do when things are coming to the surface! Every researcher can searched again and again through billions of times! Have you thought about professors as being in harmony or in conflict with each other, and that everyone could not use other things than theories, methods and data?

The earthquakes coming from time to time could be measured by their strenghts by the Richters scale. And this scale was developed by Richter and Gutenberg by California Institute of Technology in the USA in 1935. The Richters scale is a logarithmic scale based on the base number 10. That means that an earthquake which measures 6 Richter is 10 times more powerful than an earthquake which measures 5. And an earthquake on 7 Richter is 100 times powerful than 5, while and earthquake on 8 Richter is 1 000 times more powerful than 5, and such the logic follows up and down this specific scale.

There are several important concepts in relation to an earthquake. It is the hypocenter, where an earthquake rupture starts. This is under the surface. And we have also the epicenter, being the most powerful area for an earthquake at the surface!

We should think about the earth in such way that we should build and not destroy any community regardless of what has happened in history, what is happening today, and what should be occuring in the future. Sustainable development, climate changes that we can defend scientifically, and global changes, should we think of each times. And we should take care of the rainforest, and getting clean air. Humans need clean air to breath properly!
