Poetry Slam Challenge 8 entry 2: The sun

If I ruled the world

I'd glow so bright on "thee"

That you would not see

Another truth than me.

If I ruled the world

There'd be a death note on the culprits

Like Light Yagami I would extend my wings

And shine on you and suffocate you earthlings

If I ruled the world

You wouldn't be scared of the darkness but of the brightness

You wouldn't dread the night but the Sun of madness

You wouldn't escape my curse

Or act human, act on an impulse

If I ruled the world

This world is, unfortunately, filled with people who think they hold "Death Note" in their hands.
