Part 2

"<Succeeded>" is the message that appears in the console. Her game worked. It didn't happen often that everything worked without any errors after she had programmed for a long period of time. She usually had to
rewrite lines or even entire files for hours, but today everything went on smoothly. She got up, made herself in her squeaky-pink Plush office chair comfortable and rolled around a little inside it. Her mother always thought her chair looked terrible. But Svenja always took her chair as an excuse, she'd always thought that her room was 'way too dull' anyway and that this office chair would make her room look a little happier. It gave her room the positive atmosphere between all the pencil sketches and the texts that were hanging all over her walls.
It was the atmosphere that she needed to think and work properly. She didn't really like pink. She didn't really like colors at all. But she fell in love with that chair immediately.

She buried her feet under the cables, which were wild and disordered under on her desk. One of these cables went from the power supply to the closet across her room, where her server was located. She had the cable stretched through her entire room with the help of clothes line. There wasn't enough room on her desk for that monster of a machine and she also thought that there was no point in spending money on an extra power strip, if it can also work that way. She pulled herself to her desk and started the server via the small command window. Many lines of green status messages were running over the black screen. She liked the green writing. It made it look so much more professional.

"Server works," she muttered. Now she started the client, the game, which communicated with the server and its database. The login screen appeared and in the background you could see the flag of Asthasia. It was a beautiful flag, she thought. Two crossed swords and in the middle an eye with a drop of blood as the pupil on a
dark red ground. Asthasia. That's what her father called their world. It was the perfect name. She couldn't think of any other or better name, with which she could connect all the dragons, knights, queens, kings or the whole landscape.

She entered the account data of her test account and pressed the login button and the server started rattling. A short Black screen. Then the message "Attach your VR-Tech to your device" appeared in white letters. She rummaged her VR-glasses out of her drawer and attached it. The message disappeared and Svenja slowly saw, a menu in capital letters appear in front of her, in which she could finally create her character. She chose a brave Warrioress with sword and dagger. She created the character a little more muscular than she herself was. In addition, the face of her avatar was a lot more fierce than hers. On the head of her character hung her long brown hair down to a braided plait. She inspected her character once again and pressed "OK". Another Message appeared: "Now set up your VR-TECH And activate. The Sensors". Her VR-Headset flashed green and she pulled the mount rubber around the head of her headset. "Fits..." she muttered.

With the button on the headphones of the VR-Headset she activated the sensors and with a few movements to the left and right the sensors were calibrated. Her character appeared in a great white room, and she saw her warrior inclined from above. Now came the exciting part. The calibration of the so-called "Mind Control" and the third sensor. She was fascinated by the technology and was curious whether it worked as well as how they always told in in the commercials.

"Imagine you would walk in a straight line" The camera drove into her character's head so that she could take the scene from an Ego Perspective and she concentrated and imagined slowly putting one foot in front of the other. She tried to think clear and naturally and sent her brain the information that she was walking. It wasn't thoughts in the form of words. She just imagined that she was walking straight, slowly. She tried to imagine her legs moving. One step. Indeed! After some thoughts her character began to move. She squeaked briefly with enthusiasm and then held her hand, Scared by the sound she made, over her mouth while grinning.

Now she tried to jump and after a few attempts the Character did. "Fascinating," escaped her mouth and she felt a little like Spock discovering a new planet. After the calibration, she was put in the menu with the heading "My Games". Between all the pre-installed games, like PacMan-VR, Tetris-VR and Solitaire-VR she now discovered the blazon of Asthasia. But there were no buttons in the menu. Instinctively, she reached for the blazon. In this moment, the Icon with the blazon was marked. She flinched in shock. The Screen became dazzling bright and then suddenly all black.

Her head started to hurt. A prick drilled itself into her Skull. Her hands became colder and colder and colder. They were numb. Not just her hands, her whole body went numb. She could barely breathe. She grabbed her neck and rang for air. "Shit!" she thought, and after she saw a blue flash in her eye. Everything went black.
