This post comprises all the “V” entries of theVocab-ability series. It includes numerous English words whose etymology can be traced to Greek and Latin roots.
If you learn these roots, you can learn, understand, and use each and every English word derived from it. Vocab-ability is an easy-to-use resource guide to help you understand those roots.
In total, this Vocab-ability post features 14 entries that begins with the letter “V."
Note re Status / Progress of Series:
This is the final post of the first section of the series, which has presented all the "STEMS." But there's much more on the way. Coming soon are the sections containing "PREFIXES," "SUFFIXES," and then "NUMBERS."
Thereafter, I will post each of the 350-plus individual entries (that is, each text box). I will try to make daily posts, but sometimes I will be able to manage only 3–4 / week.
Note re RePosting of "A–F":
When I started this Vocab-ability series, I had not coloured the text boxes. That means that the posts "A–F" were in boring, plain, white boxes. From the "G" post onwards, the boxes are already coloured, as below. Therefore, before proceeding with the other sections of the series, I will first repost the "A–F" portions, with the new, revised, improved, coloured boxes. Hope you like them.

Note re Copying each Screenshot:
Each separate entry (including those in this and other Vocab-ability posts) consists of one screenshot (since making screenshots was the only way I could properly format the individual entries for uploading to Steemit).
