You Really Need to Follow @donallogue

You may know Dónal Logue from seeing him in the movie The Tao of Steve or from TV shows including Gotham, Vikings, Terriers or The Knights of Prosperity (an excellent short-lived comedy killed off by clueless television executives). Perhaps you know that in addition to being an actor, he’s a writer. In my opinion, a damn fine writer.

But unless you’ve been paying close attention, you might not know that he’s a Steemian. He sure slipped under my radar. He joined back in February with a short intro post and followed with a short funny/interesting post about what Danny Trejo saw one time when he was in jail.

@donallogue’s account came to my attention when @mattclarke (who I follow) resteemed Dónal’s (significantly longer) third post:

Serial Killers - Qu'est-ce que c'est?

Whoa.

Easily one of the best posts I’ve seen on Steemit. At times funny, at times very creepy, consistently well-written.

Do yourself a favor and go read every word of it. Do it now.

Back then I did a post introducing @donallogue and urging people to check him out. Few seem to have followed my advice. You can lead a horse to water…

He went on to write another half dozen or so damn fine posts. And then took a long break. I’m guessing that real life intervened and he had other priorities.

But he recently came back with two poetry posts.

I’m really hoping he sticks around. I would strongly encourage you to follow him and take notice when he pops up in your Feed. And to go back and read his old posts to get some idea of why I’m saying you should follow him.

Not sure if I’ve ever asked to have one of my posts resteemed, but I’m asking now. Please get the word out.
