Those of you who sees the Creative Writing Challenge (CWC) for the first time still have a chance to join with a flying start by tomorrow at Midnight (Aug 3).

To quickly catch up with all the rewards and rules I advise taking a look here. Ready? Okey then. Brush up your creative muscles and put yourself on the starting line together with the rest of the challengers who are already sitting at their writing desks in front of a blank sheet of paper holding a pencil and waiting for the start.

Let the creative writing challenge begin:

Creative Writing Challenge
NUMBER ONE

1). Go to your home library. Pick a random shelf. Take the 7-th book. Open page number 7. Find the 7-th sentence and write a short poem OR a short essay based on what you have read in the sentence. Don’t forget to take a snapshot of the sentence which triggered your creativity to write the post. Include the snapshot at the beginning of your post.

Minimum requirements:

  • 150 words for a poem and 300 words for a short essay (creative fiction and nonfiction are both accepted)
  • pick at least one image as a header (the snapshot is counted as one image as well)
  • and last, but not least: use your imagination and have fun

2). Once you have finished, publish it as your next post. Then get back here and submit the link as a comment.

Deadline:

Since the door for new participants is still open by tomorrow by Midnight, the deadline to submit your first post (out of 9) will be Aug 4.

A SBD Reward:
Those of you who complete all the 9 tasks will share a price pull (Currently 10 SBD and looking for sponsors).

Additional Rewards

  • a significant improvement of your creative writing skills
  • a chance to build new healthy writing routines (the same hidden benefit as we had in @merej99's challenge)
  • an opp to compare your work with the one of your colleagues and discover personal weaknesses to improve
  • connecting with other people with the same interest able to give you feedback and encourage you during the challenge and beyond that

Curious to see who you are competing with?

Here's the list with all of the participants:

Name of challenger
@alemars16
@orii
@rootingrobert
@kubbyelizabeth
@rachelburger
@flemingfarm
@ricardoangulove
@merej99
@greatness96

If no one joins by tomorrow Midnight, it will be a nice coincidence that we'll have 9 tasks and 9 challengers.

If everything is clear, just go ahead and start challenging yourself!

Even if your shuttle doesn't reach the open space, there's always a second attempt.

Consistency will put you in a league of winners.

Greets,
@steemfluencer
