Notice That Little Red Mic??????????????

I am coining a new term called TALXTING!!

I don’t hate typing really
but sometimes it disconnects me from the emotion of what I am writing and sometimes it’s easier just to speak what I want written down.

As a Steemit noob,
I realize that I am still pecking my way out of my shell, but I am determined to bring value to this community. I have already been rewarded greatly by simply meeting some of the most amazing people and making world-wide connections.

To be honest,
it’s a little overwhelming and I’m making an honest effort to pump the brakes before I simply let gravity take over and just scream Steeeeemiiiiiiit going full tilt downhill with my goatee twitching in the wind. I’m bald as f so yah, it’s down to the goatee and eyebrows to depict a sense of motion.

I was very surprised
that my post about Dolly’s suicide was so touching to those who read it. Honestly I had a lot of trouble typing that post and I really felt freed up when I could both type and dictate my post. It was a really refreshing way to get my thoughts down quickly and edit and polish later.

Use your phone’s voice recorder!!
If you are not near your computer for any reason you can either dictate into your phone with its mic input icon which is present in many apps like notes and text or you can record your voice note and play it into Google Docs later.

This is a little something I recorded
on my cell phone recorder and then activated the Google Docs input mic and held up the recording for the computer to hear and it transcribed exactly right the following: I want to use this as an experiment on my cell phone recorder to see if Google Docs can understand exactly what I'm saying.

I think that’s pretty cool!

Mac command is Command/Apple-Shift-S

PC command is Control-Shift-S

HAPPY TALXTING!! :D
