Where Did Beaulah Get That License Plate? A Fierce Criminal Exposed Here

Beaulah was the town's librarian, which is likely why nobody recognized her that day at the DMV office. After reading about her Spooner-esque rant in Chapter 2., a bit of digging in the Fictionarium chronicles reveals that Beaulah is perhaps not as innocent as she may appear in that chapter.

In the hand-written fiction, we discover a surprising fact, and quoting @therealpaul

"Beaulah Chandler had stopped to pick up some coffee at a shop which happened to be next door to the 'Department of Motor Vehicles', the city's licensing office for drivers. When she came out of the small shop, she noticed a police car with it's back bumper protruding into a handicapped parking space.

With no policeman in sight, she looked at the cruiser's license plate. Why have plates on a police car? This was part of an illusion, she knew. It gave the appearance that the police were just like everybody else, following the rules, part of the community.

Handy with a few illusions of her own, a quick screwdriver from Beaulah's handbag appeared in her hand, and the license plate suddenly vanished from the back of the patrol car..."

Within this Fictionarium, if the town of Hill Valley symbolically represents the logical left-brain, wait until you cross the border into the right-brained town of Lakeland in the continuing story here on Steemit.
