In the individual competition (also called gundersen) the first day is celebrated the jumps from the trampoline of ninety meters. Each participant makes two, adding up the score of both, which give the order of a stepped exit for the background test.
In team competition each team consists of four members. On the first day they make each two jumps from the 90-meter springboard, adding the eight jumps to give the team score by adding the scores of each one on the trampoline.
