I was inspired to do this contest after seeing a friend of mine reproduce a photo of her family (her + two sons and husband) from over 12 years prior! In it her husband was holding their now 15 year old son on his hip - just like he was holding his younger son in the photo. It gave me a deep belly chuckle! I immediately knew I wanted to do a similar contest on Steemit!! Depending on how this one goes, there may be more renditions of it. The first one is "Younger Than Yesteryear" and focuses on just you remaking a past photo - no family members or friends (complete details below).
This photo was taken when I was 2 years old and living in Indiana with my mom and dad. They were out gardening and I wanted to help. Well it turned out that not only did I want to help, but I wanted to eat the potting soil! From what I've heard, I loved to eat the potting soil often when we all were in the garden. Judging by my recent photo, not much has changed!
The Objective
Take a photo from your childhood and reproduce it as best as you can.
Only remake a photo featuring yourself (there may be more contests in the future depicting those with your family and friends, so we will keep this one specific.)

We will decide the winner on three categories
- The best execution of the rendition - Attention to detail is the key here. Pay attention to your clothes, objects in the photo, facial expressions, etc.
- The Funniest - Judged by original photo and how funny your older self looks reproducing the photo.
- Most original story - The context written in the description paragraph(s).
With these three categories fulfilled with excellency, we will subjectively choose the post we find the most delight in!!
