Claymore has released his Zcash (ZEC) AMD GPU Miner v1.0 for Windows intended for AMD OpenCL miners and even with the 2.5% dev fee that the miner has the significant improvement in the hashrate for mining Zcash makes it a must have choice for AMD Windows miners. So if you are mining Zcash (ZEC) on a Windows-based mining rig, you should definitely check the new Claymore Zcash miner like RIGHT NOW!
Linux AMD OpenCL miners are able to take advantage of a similar higher hashrate as what Claymore's Windows miner is delivering at the moment with the help of the SilentArmy V3 miner. So if you are mining on AMD under Linux, go and check this miner and see if it can improve your mining hashrate...
Nvidia CUDA miners are for the moment left with less optimized GPU miners and thus slower hashrate, so what we need next is a more optimized Nvidia CUDA miner for Zcash, especially for the latest Nvidia Pascal GPUs that are really making some nice performance in a lower power-usage package. For the moment NiceHash's nheqminer is the best choice for Nvidia CUDA miners as well as for CPU miners apparently, the AMD OpenCL that this miner offers is already outdated in terms of performance compared to the latest miners from Claymore and SilentArmy.
