Goooood day readers! How are you? Let's be grateful for all the small things we have in life!
Hey monster readers, this is Day 5 of the gratitude challenge and I'll talk about something that I'm really hooked and grateful for.
Earlier today I was coming back from my dad's house, cycling along the bike lane with a space especially provided for us, the cyclists. It was cold as the sun was setting behind the tall buildings of the city center. The cars were slowly moving on the rush hour, people stressed honking here and there.
I couldn't help but think - How lucky I am for having my bicycle.

Most say that cycling during the winter is insanity, an act for masochists and people who lost some bolts in the brain - in a bike crash maybe.
But for me, cycling at any moment I feel alive. How great it is to be able to overtake all those cars and safely guide the way to my house.
Since I bought my current bicycle in February I've been using it EVERY single day. Being able to exercise, move around quickly and save money, all in one package is fantastic. If you account for how much you'd save on gas yearly by using a bicycle, I'm sure you'll be able to afford an incredible one. Maybe one electric assisted?
For me cycling represents life - I feel alive using my power to move, I feel alive with the cold air hitting my face.
I'm absolutely grateful for having my bicycle!
With the intention to spread the word I've convinced the Steemit Travellers' admins on Discord to create a room for us - There we'll be able to discuss everything related to the cycle world. If you'd like to check you can click on the banner at the end of my post.
I'm sorry for making this post so short, it's because I need to sleep early to cycle tomorrow morning!
Wish you all great ridings and don't blame the headwinds, instead, work harder for having stronger legs xD. Bye.

I would like to tag my friends @robmolecule @mollyparti @rossfletcher whom I believe would write some beautiful texts - please don't feel obligated, but you've been tagged!
