Unraveling the beauty of Northern Cebu: An adventure to Papa Kit's Marina and Fishing Lagoon Resort

Looking for a perfect place to relax, enjoy and be in love with nature?

I know exactly where to go! Come on, let's all be amazed in the new found paradise.

Today, December 24, 2017, one of my closest friends, Mining Engineer Shairah Arindig surprised me when she came back from work (She was assigned in Tawi-Tawi, Mindanao, Philippines).

Shairah is that girl on the left and yours truly beside her.

Since we're both stressed with the overwhelming work we had for months, we decided to go down the road and face a relaxing adventure experience.

Then we (referring to me, Shairah and the rest of the squad) found ourselves enticed with the beauty of Liloan, one of the beautiful municipalities in Northern Cebu.

Papa Kit's Marina and Fishing Lagoon Resort offers various activities and has superb sceneries which are perfect for photoshoot, fam bam, monthsary/anniversary celebration, team building and even soul searching. Let's all take a look.

#1. Wall Climbing
IMG_7631.JPG

That's me on the photo, struggling to get on the next rock due to my short legs and tight jeans. hehehe. Not too prepared.

Like any other wall climbing you probably have tried, this one's pretty the same. The only thing that makes Papa Kit's wall climbing different is the reward you get when you reach the top. They offer free 800-meter zip line which saves you Php200.00 on your budget. Isn't that amazing?

#2. Zip Line

Don't let me go kuya. Not just yet!

IMG_7640.JPG
Will I be alright?

IMG_7642.JPG
Okay. HEELO STEEMIANS!

Guess what? I paid for that because obviously i wasn't able to reach to top of the wall. hehehe It's okay because the experience is really worth it. You see?

#3. Jungle Obstacle
IMG_7650.JPG

This one's perfect for team building and I would really suggest this one to you.

Jungle obstacle consists of 4 courses:

First, the hanging brige.
IMG_7648.JPG

It was easy but if you're a faint-hearted person then the creaking sound will surely bother you.

Second, military-like training.
IMG_7653.JPG

My photographer was laughing so hard. The result, blurred photo. hehehe

Third, the cable balance.
IMG_7708.JPG

This one's pretty difficult. Despite of the knee-trembling experience, we were able to proceed to the fourth and final stage. Not too bad for first timers, eh? hehehe

Fourth, the swing-like-series hanging bridge.

Say STEEMIT!

Finally, after all the deafening heartbeats, muscle tremors, and the overall struggle, we're done with the amazing Jungle Obstacle. Time to take a rest and breathe in some precious unpolluted air.

Here we go. Ready for the next one!

#4. Horse back riding.

Smile like a horse!

To relax the adrenaline, a 15-minute horse back riding is more than enough. Their horses are friendly and the guides are very accommodating plus the view is really refreshing. Phew This is life! hehehe

After all the things we did whole morning, our tummies now demand for some food. Good thing Papa Kit's has Kito's restaurant which serves fresh and delicious meals at a low price you won't expect. And that's the 5th must go-to.

#5. Fishing Lagoon and Kito's Restaurant
IMG_7468.JPG

Please excuse my hungry look gazing at the wilderness of hunger. hehehe

Here it comes. Let's eat!

In the photo: Calamares, Chicken Adubo, Guso (one of the 500 edible seaweeds in PH), Chop Suey, and Sinigang na Bangus or Stewed Milkfish in Tamarind Broth.

Look at that!

Wait!
IMG_7508.JPG

I couldn't just say the food is good. It deserves a better description than just that. Because to be honest, that mouthwatering experience is a must recommend. Indeed, Kito's restaurant offers great service with very tasty Filipino cuisines that you'll surely love.

That's all for this morning because we're now heading to our next destination just before Christmas eve. Who's excited to see what Cebu city has to offer? hehehe Keep intouch and keep following for more.
