I recently passed through Miami and the stars aligned for me to interview famous Steemer, @heiditravels.
Apparently that meetup caused a commotion in Peru, of all places, in the post, "When @heiditravels did not show up to the TV-Interview to be aired to 10 million Peruvians, but instead jumped on a flight to visit @dollarvigilante I am sorry to say I DID EXPLODE"
That post turned out be a total lie, though, as @heiditravels explained in her post, "My First Bad Experience with Steemit".
But, while I was carousing around South Beach I ran into a guy who was a Dollar Vigilante fan and subscriber AND, I quickly found out, is a famous big wave surfer, Toby Cunningham!
He asked me what I was doing in Miami and I told him I was just passing through on my way to the Dominican Republic to become a citizen and then to Cuba to interview one of the only anarcho-capitalists in the country (that interview coming soon).
Toby said to me, "Wow, what an amazing life, going to so many different places."
It was then that I asked him what he did and he told me he is a big wave surfer who had just gotten back from Tahiti and was about to head to Portugal to try to break a world record in big wave surfing!
I responded, "Your life sounds way better than mine!"
It turned out he is an anarcho-capitalist and is quite well known as the "Ethereum Surfer" as he often wears the cryptocurrency's shirt while he surfs. And, I soon found out, he also was a Steemer under the name @tobydaniel2.
I told him I was interviewing @heiditravels in the morning and he agreed to come down to my hotel to do an Anarchast.
It's a great interview with a lot of interesting topics covered... including how @heiditravels makes thousands of dollars per post and his story on how his friend nearly died in his arms while surfing ("My Best Friend Almost Died in My Arms") only made $160!
We both lamented on the fact that Heidi has pretty white girl privilege and how unfair it was.
We also got into 9/11 truth, so today is a perfect day to release the video.
